This Album is purely about the various pentatonic tunings that I have been experimenting with. By taking the focus off the rhythmic complexity that is my normal bent it leaves the opportunity for one to appreciate the feel or mood of each of these tunings. The fact that the Ngoni splits the scale from side to side gives rise to some very interesting intervals and in many of the pieces I explore these naturally set up chords.
